DOJ Investigating Ilhan Omar for Alleged Corruption

President Trump just pulled back the curtain on what could become one of the biggest political scandals involving a sitting member of Congress.

Early Monday morning, Trump announced that the Department of Justice and Congress are actively investigating far-left Minnesota Congresswoman Ilhan Omar for alleged corruption specifically tied to a jaw-dropping explosion in personal wealth and a multi-billion dollar welfare fraud scheme rocking the state of Minnesota.

“The DOJ and Congress are looking at ‘Congresswoman’ Illhan Omar, who left Somalia with NOTHING, and is now reportedly worth more than 44 Million Dollars,” Trump posted on Truth Social. “Time will tell all.”

The announcement comes amid chaos in Minneapolis, where over the weekend a federal immigration agent shot and killed an armed anti-ICE protester who reportedly attempted to run him over with a vehicle. The incident has only fueled growing unrest, which Trump suggests may be directly linked to an alleged $20 billion welfare fraud operation that federal authorities are now investigating.

In a predictable and deflective response, Omar lashed out online, calling Trump’s statement a “conspiracy theory” and accusing him of using her as a distraction.

“Your support is collapsing and you’re panicking,” Omar wrote. “Years of ‘investigations’ have found nothing.”

What Omar fails to mention is that earlier probes have mostly been limited in scope or quietly dropped by Democrat-led committees. This new effort appears to be far more expansive and could be part of a broader cleanup operation in Minnesota, a state now overrun by public corruption, illegal immigration, and coordinated leftist protests.

Meanwhile, Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem praised the decision to send in Tom Homan, noting:

“His experience and insight will help us in our wide-scale fraud investigations… and will help us to remove even more public safety threats and violent criminal illegal aliens off the streets of Minneapolis.”
