Desperation Grows as Democrats Urge Joe Biden to Step Aside

The Democrat Party is officially in meltdown mode. Just days after former President Joe Biden crawled out from political exile for a highly publicized interview on ABC’s The View, Democrat strategists are now openly pleading for him to disappear permanently.

The interview was a disaster from the start. When pressed about his obvious and worsening cognitive decline, Biden froze, prompting former First Lady Jill Biden to awkwardly jump in and answer the question for him. The optics were so bad that Democrat operatives are now openly admitting what most Americans already knew: Joe Biden is a political liability the Left can’t afford anymore.

“It’s time for Joe Biden to go away with all due respect and let the next generation of Democrats take the mantle,” said Democratic strategist Chuck Rocha. “Every time he appears on a show or says something, it’s just another week or a month that we have to defend him.”

Translation: Biden’s very existence is dragging down whatever’s left of the Democrat brand and that’s saying a lot after Kamala Harris’s historic blowout loss to President Trump in the 2024 election.

Progressive group co-founder Amanda Litman echoed the sentiment:

“Every interview that Biden does drags us backwards and reminds people of the older generation of Democrats that got us into this mess.”

Let that sink in. Even the progressive base now sees Biden as the symbol of the swamp not the savior. The guy who once pitched himself as a “unifier” has now become the most divisive anchor weighing down his party.

And it’s not just his TV gaffes. Biden’s legacy is collapsing under the weight of reality. His disastrous withdrawal from Afghanistan, the record-smashing inflation, and his open-border agenda are all still fresh in voters’ minds. Now, with CNN’s Jake Tapper and Axios’ Alex Thompson preparing to drop a tell-all book titled Original Sin, things are about to get even messier for Biden’s camp.

Plus, Republicans are reportedly ready to release audio recordings of Biden’s interviews with former Special Counsel Robert Hur the same interviews where Biden's mental condition was so alarming that Hur refused to bring charges, citing Biden’s inability to stand trial.

Even if Biden goes silent, his failed record, corruption scandals, and cognitive decline aren’t going away. He’ll remain the face of the Democrat defeat in 2024 the man who let Trump steamroll his way back into the White House and now won’t take the hint to exit the stage.

Democrats are fractured, embarrassed, and panicking. Biden can do one last thing for his party leave and even that might be too little, too late.
