Colorado Pro-Israel Rally Attacker Identified as Illegal Immigrant from Egypt

Firebombing suspect overstayed visa under Biden admin, now investigated for terrorism after injuring six at Jewish community event.

A peaceful pro-Israel demonstration in Boulder, Colorado erupted into terror on Sunday when a man shouting “Free Palestine” and “End Zionist” attacked the crowd with a makeshift flamethrower, injuring at least six people.

Now, federal officials confirm that the suspect Mohamed Sabry Soliman, 45 is an illegal immigrant from Egypt who overstayed his visa under the Biden administration.

According to sources within the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Soliman entered the U.S. in August 2022 on a temporary visa, which expired in February 2023. Despite that, he was granted work authorization by the Biden administration which expired just two months ago in March.

And then, he attacked.

Soliman reportedly threw an incendiary device into the crowd gathered to support Israeli hostages taken by Hamas and used a makeshift flamethrower to ignite part of the group. The FBI said six people were hospitalized with serious injuries, including burns. Authorities are now officially classifying the incident as an act of ideologically motivated terrorism.

“We are investigating this incident as an act of terror and targeted violence,” said FBI Deputy Director Dan Bongino. “If you aided or abetted this attack, we will find you. You cannot hide.”

Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard confirmed the attack is being investigated by the National Counterterrorism Center in coordination with federal and local law enforcement. The victims had gathered in a weekly community event to raise awareness about the Israeli hostages still held by Hamas since the October 7 massacre.

This horrifying attack isn't just a fluke it's the direct result of a wide-open border and failed visa enforcement under the Biden administration. Soliman should have been removed from the country over a year ago. Instead, he was allowed to remain, work, and walk the streets freely until he set innocent people on fire.

Let’s be clear:

  • Soliman entered during the Biden presidency.

  • He overstayed his visa and was not deported.

  • He received work authorization, despite no legal status.

  • He then committed what officials are calling an act of terror.

The Biden administration’s negligence on immigration enforcement is now putting American lives at risk not just at the border, but in cities and communities across the country.

Sunday’s terror attack follows a disturbing trend of pro-Hamas and anti-Israel rhetoric turning violent. Whether on college campuses, in European streets, or now at peaceful Jewish gatherings in America, radical ideology is being emboldened and it’s finding willing actors like Soliman.

The question now: How many more Solimans are still here hiding in plain sight, protected by broken immigration policies and a president unwilling to enforce the law?

The Jewish community, and every American, deserves answers and action.
