Clintons Agree to Testify in House Epstein Probe After Facing Contempt Vote

Bill and Hillary backtrack on subpoenas as GOP-led Oversight Committee digs into Epstein’s elite connections.

After weeks of stonewalling and defiance, Bill and Hillary Clinton have officially agreed to testify before the House Oversight Committee’s ongoing investigation into Jeffrey Epstein’s sex trafficking network and his deep ties to global political elites.

The Clintons’ sudden reversal comes just as the Republican-led House prepared to vote on holding them in contempt of Congress for defying a subpoena. According to committee insiders, the looming legal pressure left the Clintons with little choice but to comply. Their appearance date remains unannounced, but their commitment is now on the record.

This is a dramatic shift from their stance just weeks ago. The former president and secretary of state had been scheduled to appear in mid-December. Committee Chair Rep. James Comer (R-KY) even granted them a delay to attend a funeral. But the Clintons blew off the rescheduled deposition without warning, prompting the bipartisan committee vote that set the contempt process in motion.

In a defiant letter last month, the Clintons argued that the subpoena was “legally invalid,” claiming they had provided all the information they possessed. “We’ve done so because Mr. Epstein’s crimes were horrific,” the letter said, while dismissing the investigation as “partisan politics.”

But the facts say otherwise.

  • Bill Clinton flew on Epstein’s private jet at least 27 times, according to flight logs.

  • He met Epstein at least several times, including at Epstein’s Harlem office, Manhattan apartment, and aboard the infamous “Lolita Express.”

  • Epstein was a guest at a 1993 White House donor event hosted by the Clintons after donating $10,000 to the White House Historical Association.

  • While Hillary Clinton has not been accused of traveling with Epstein, her silence on the matter has only fueled further scrutiny.

Let’s be clear: no one has officially accused either Clinton of criminal involvement with Epstein’s trafficking operations. But the sheer volume of contact and access Epstein enjoyed with the Clinton inner circle raises deeply disturbing questions about who knew what, and when.

What also can’t be ignored is the sudden transparency shift under President Trump’s second term. Since taking office, Trump’s DOJ has released millions of pages of Epstein-related documents, exposing long-suppressed communications, meeting logs, donation records, and travel logs documents the public was denied under previous administrations.

The House Oversight Committee says its investigation is not just about Epstein’s crimes, but also about the network of power and protection that allowed him to operate in elite circles for decades. According to the committee, the goal is to uncover:

  • How Epstein used his wealth to gain access to political figures.

  • What institutions failed to act or covered up his behavior.

  • And how federal law can be strengthened to combat human trafficking at the highest levels of society.

The Clintons can mock this as a “partisan circus” all they want, but facts don’t care about spin. Epstein didn’t climb the ladders of influence alone he had help. And if the Clintons have nothing to hide, their sworn testimony should be swift, thorough, and cooperative.

It’s worth remembering that over 700 names were recently revealed in newly unsealed Epstein court documents, with many prominent figures still refusing to comment or even acknowledge their connections. The American people deserve answers and the Clintons are no exception.
