U.S. Arrests Chinese Citizens in Alleged Military Recruitment Scheme
Communist China’s deep infiltration into U.S. military ranks finally exposed.

In a bombshell national security breach, two Chinese nationals were arrested last week for allegedly attempting to infiltrate the United States military on behalf of the Chinese Communist Party. The arrests mark one of the most brazen and chilling espionage efforts uncovered in recent years and a sharp reminder that America remains under threat from enemies within.
According to the Department of Justice, 38-year-old Yuance Chen a legal permanent resident in Oregon and 39-year-old Liren “Ryan” Lai who entered the U.S. on a tourist visa in April were working as unregistered agents of China’s Ministry of State Security (MSS), the Communist regime’s top foreign intelligence agency.
The charges against them are staggering:
Attempted recruitment of U.S. Navy personnel to provide national security information.
Use of “dead-drop” methods, including a backpack filled with $10,000 left in a California facility.
Theft of personal military recruitment data from U.S. installations.
Repeated meetings with Chinese intelligence officials to discuss operations and payments.
Attorney General Pam Bondi didn't hold back, stating, “This case underscores the Chinese government’s sustained and aggressive effort to infiltrate our military and undermine our national security from within.”
These arrests aren’t isolated. They’re just the latest chapter in a long pattern of Chinese espionage operations targeting America’s military, technology, and research institutions. FBI Director Kash Patel made it clear: “The Chinese Communist Party thought they were getting away with their scheme to operate on U.S. soil.”
And let’s not forget:
The Pentagon reported over 2,000 instances of Chinese espionage activity since 2020.
In 2023 alone, Chinese spies were caught operating near 19 different military bases in the U.S.
The CCP has spent decades building soft power within U.S. universities, tech labs, and yes even inside the U.S. government.
It’s not just sabotage it’s systemic infiltration.
While the Biden-era intelligence community spent years downplaying Chinese espionage threats in favor of political witch hunts and woke nonsense, the Trump administration is restoring priorities. National security comes first. Enemies abroad and traitors within will be exposed, prosecuted, and removed.
The message from President Trump’s team is unambiguous Under this administration, China’s shadow games on U.S. soil will end. America will not tolerate foreign operatives poisoning our institutions and targeting our troops.
