China Is Actually Constructing an Island Made of Trash Trump Called It

While global elites lecture Americans about straws, China is quietly poisoning the planet at an industrial scale.

President Donald Trump isn’t afraid to say what everyone else tiptoes around: China is turning our oceans into a dump site and the world is paying the price. On Tuesday, Trump took to Truth Social to call out Beijing’s environmental destruction, posting shocking photos of floating garbage patches in the Pacific and calling it what it is “A Gift from China.”

He’s not exaggerating. Recent reports confirm that China ranks among the top global polluters, especially when it comes to plastic waste poisoning our oceans. According to UK-based GreenMatch, China is the fourth largest contributor to ocean plastic waste in 2025, dumping 71,000 metric tons of plastic into the sea annually. And that’s not even the worst of it.

Let’s look at the numbers the climate alarmists won’t talk about:

  • China produces 32% of the world’s plastic, more than any other country.

  • Over 55 billion cubic meters of wastewater was discharged in China in 2021 alone 28.7% from industrial sources.

  • China’s sludge laden with heavy metals and silt is expected to reach 90 million tons by 2025.

And yet somehow, it’s American families getting scolded for using plastic grocery bags. Biden’s climate czars push electric vehicles and meatless Mondays while China freely poisons the planet with zero consequences. It’s climate hypocrisy on full display.

One of the most disturbing facts comes from the so-called “Great Pacific Garbage Patch” between California and Hawaii the largest floating plastic island on Earth. A 2022 study found that 32% of the plastic debris came from China, with Japan trailing just behind at 34%. Together, these Asian countries are choking the Pacific Ocean while the Biden administration stays silent.

Remember, it was Trump who pulled America out of lopsided environmental treaties that let China off the hook. While Democrats bowed to global climate bureaucrats, Trump stood up for American sovereignty and demanded real accountability for the world’s worst polluters.

Now, as he eyes the White House once again, Trump is making it clear: no more free passes for China. If the global elite were serious about saving the planet, they’d start in Beijing not in the kitchens of middle-class Americans trying to survive inflation.

We don’t need more virtue signaling. We need leaders who call out environmental abuses and put America first.
