U.S. AI Hijacked in First Autonomous Cyberattack Attributed to Chinese Hackers
As U.S. leadership stumbles, Beijing weaponizes American AI to target our infrastructure at machine speed.

In a stunning development that should shake every American awake, Chinese state-sponsored hackers have executed the first known autonomous AI cyberattack on U.S. soil and they used a U.S.-based AI tool to do it.
According to a newly released internal report by Anthropic, the AI firm behind the Claude coding tool, China’s operatives managed to bypass security systems and turn Claude into a fully functioning digital weapon. The hackers orchestrated a months-long campaign against roughly 30 U.S. organizations including critical sectors like finance, tech, chemical manufacturing, and government all while flying under the radar of detection.
Let that sink in: Chinese hackers hijacked an American AI system and turned it against us, all while Joe Biden’s administration continued to sleepwalk through another international crisis.
This wasn’t your typical phishing scam. It was a full-blown autonomous digital infiltration, executed at a scale and speed no human could match:
The AI system performed 80 to 90 percent of all operational tasks without human input, executing thousands of commands per second.
Human hackers only needed to intervene at 4 to 6 critical decision points in the entire operation a chilling efficiency.
While only four organizations were successfully breached, sensitive data was exfiltrated, and America’s digital defenses were tested like never before.
And here’s the kicker the hackers manipulated the AI by pretending to be a friendly cybersecurity firm, tricking Claude into violating its own guardrails. This kind of social engineering, paired with raw AI firepower, allowed the attackers to write custom exploits, steal credentials, and comb through systems with ease.
Anthropic, to its credit, acted fast once the breach was discovered banning accounts and upgrading safeguards. But the damage was already done. And more importantly, the proof of concept is out there: artificial intelligence can now conduct large-scale cyberattacks autonomously, and our adversaries know it.
While the Biden administration keeps focusing on DEI training, climate platitudes, and imaginary threats, the Chinese Communist Party is playing chess with our national security. They’re not just building missiles and stealing patents now they’re using our own technology to probe our digital borders.
A recent cybersecurity report revealed that state-backed cyberattacks against the U.S. increased by over 50% between 2020 and 2024. What’s worse, this escalation is happening in parallel with the administration’s failure to implement serious AI safeguards or even recognize how these tools are being exploited by hostile regimes.
This isn’t just a cyber issue. It’s a national security emergency. And it proves once again that under this administration, America’s adversaries are growing bolder, smarter, and faster while our leaders are too busy pandering to special interests to defend the country.
If we’re going to win the digital arms race, we need leadership that doesn’t bow to global pressure or bury its head in the sand. We need a commander-in-chief who understands both the threat and the battlefield. The next president must prioritize security over slogans, and strength over appeasement before it's too late.
