Memorial for Charlie Kirk to Take Place Next Sunday in NFL Stadium
Tens of thousands expected to honor conservative leader’s life and legacy at State Farm Stadium.

A massive memorial service for Charlie Kirk will be held next Sunday, September 21, at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona, the home of the NFL’s Arizona Cardinals. The venue, which seats more than 63,000 people, is expected to be packed as Americans come together to honor the slain conservative leader.
“Join us in celebrating the remarkable life and enduring legacy of Charlie Kirk, an American legend,” his organization Turning Point USA announced on X.
Arizona State Sen. Jack Hoffman described the event as one focused on unity, prayer, and remembrance: “This service will be a unifying event focused on prayer, mourning, and celebrating the life, legacy, and memory of Charlie Kirk a national treasure whose life was cut far too short.”
Kirk, 31, was assassinated last week while speaking at Utah Valley University. A political force since founding Turning Point USA at just 18 years old, he mobilized a generation of young conservatives and spoke openly about his Christian faith. Vigils in his honor have already been held across the country.
Utah officials have charged 22-year-old Tyler Robinson with aggravated murder, obstruction of justice, and felony discharge of a firearm. Republican Governor Spencer Cox described Robinson as “deeply indoctrinated with leftist ideology,” noting that he had been living with a trans-identifying partner.
President Donald Trump announced this week that he will posthumously award Kirk the Presidential Medal of Freedom, the nation’s highest civilian honor. Trump, who described Kirk as being “like a son” to him, said he was devastated by the news of the assassination.
“They said, ‘Charlie Kirk is dead,’” Trump recalled. “I didn’t know what they meant. I said, ‘What do you mean, dead?’ ‘Charlie Kirk was shot…’ I just told these people, ‘Get out. Just go.’”
White House spokeswoman Abigail Jackson echoed Trump’s words, vowing that Robinson will face the “full wrath of the American justice system” and warning that others who resort to left-wing political violence will also be held accountable.
Next Sunday’s memorial promises to be one of the largest gatherings in Arizona history for a political figure, a reflection of how deeply Kirk’s message of faith, freedom, and patriotism resonated with millions.
