Brennan and Comey Under Criminal Investigation by FBI

The deep state’s days of unchecked power may be numbered. Former CIA Director John Brennan and former FBI Director James Comey are both under criminal investigation by the FBI, according to sources inside the Department of Justice.

The investigations are reportedly tied to their roles in the now-debunked Trump–Russia collusion narrative, particularly in how they manipulated intelligence, pushed discredited sources, and possibly lied to Congress.

According to DOJ insiders, CIA Director John Ratcliffe referred Brennan for criminal prosecution over his role in the 2017 Intelligence Community Assessment (ICA)—a document that falsely alleged Russian interference was aimed at helping Donald Trump win the 2016 election.

Here’s what we now know:

• Brennan insisted on including the discredited Steele Dossier in the final intelligence report despite pushback from career analysts and mission leaders at the CIA.

• The Dossier, funded by Hillary Clinton’s campaign and the DNC, was filled with unverified claims, many of which were used to justify spying on Trump campaign officials.

• Brennan testified to Congress in 2023 that he did not support including the Dossier, contradicting his own written memo and multiple corroborating sources.

• DOJ sources describe Brennan and Comey’s actions as a possible “conspiracy” to mislead Congress and the public, a term that carries serious legal implications.

Meanwhile, James Comey is also under federal investigation, though DOJ officials have yet to disclose the specific nature of the probe. Comey was a central figure in launching “Crossfire Hurricane,” the FBI’s counterintelligence operation into Trump’s 2016 campaign.

We now know that operation was launched just days after Brennan briefed President Obama and top officials on Hillary Clinton’s plan to vilify Trump by connecting him to Russian interference a plan that was known by the CIA and passed along to Comey.

The Durham Report later concluded the FBI acted recklessly by ignoring its own protocols and political red flags. The bureau failed to act on a “clear warning sign” that Clinton allies were manipulating U.S. law enforcement for partisan gain.

Let’s not forget the facts the media ignored:

• Mueller’s investigation found no Trump–Russia conspiracy.

• Durham confirmed the Steele Dossier was political fiction.

• Brennan and Comey were warned internally not to rely on it.

• Both men pressed forward, anyway.

The DOJ Inspector General in 2019 had already documented “significant inaccuracies” in FISA applications against Trump campaign advisor Carter Page. Those warrants were propped up by Steele’s nonsense, facilitated by Comey’s FBI.

And now, at long last, the dam is breaking. DOJ sources confirmed that the FBI is actively investigating both men for potential criminal conspiracy and false statements to Congress.

As one official put it, “Brennan violated the public’s trust and should be held accountable.”

White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt said it plainly: “President Trump was right again. Those who engaged in this political scandal must be held accountable for the fraud they committed against President Trump and the lies they told to the American people.”

For years, the left called it a conspiracy theory. Now, the criminal investigations are real, and the truth is finally catching up to the men who tried to rig an election from the inside out.
