Bravo Star Sparks Backlash Over Anti-Trump Restaurant Ban Rant
Jennifer Welch says Trump supporters should stick to Cracker Barrel and avoid ethnic cuisine.

Reality TV personality Jennifer Welch, known for Bravo’s “Sweet Home Oklahoma,” is facing intense criticism after unleashing an unhinged tirade suggesting Trump supporters should be banned from dining at Chinese, Indian, and Mexican restaurants. Instead, she claimed they should “bring their fat asses over to Cracker Barrel.”
The remarks came during her appearance on the “I’ve Had It” podcast, where Welch targeted so-called “Triple Trumpers” a term used to describe those who voted for President Trump in 2016, 2020, and 2024, or who align with him on immigration, DEI, and LGBTQ policies.
In her rant, Welch accused these voters of “brow beating” minorities and said they should be denied access to the “best thing America has to offer” multiculturalism.
The tirade included some particularly nasty jabs:
“Get your fat asses out of the Mexican restaurant. Get your fat asses over to Cracker Barrel.”
“Nobody wants to see your smug ass, teeny weeny pink arm, big gut around.”
“No one wants to see that sh**.”
Her comments were met with swift backlash across social media.
One user shot back, “It’s always the most intolerant and hateful pretending to love everyone.”
Another quipped, “I voted for Trump and I’m having a burrito with chorizo and spinach dip for lunch today.”
A third added, “Ah, so minorities are just flavors to her. This explains so much.”
Critics accused Welch of revealing the hypocrisy of the far-left preaching diversity and inclusion while openly discriminating against those with different political beliefs. This is just the latest example of a growing cultural trend where celebrities feel emboldened to shame, exclude, and dehumanize Americans who vote Republican.
While Welch attempted to frame her outburst as a defense of multicultural values, it exposed an ugly truth: for some in Hollywood, “tolerance” only applies to people who agree with them. The irony wasn’t lost on many observers, especially given that Trump’s policies never banned anyone from enjoying a taco or visiting their hairdresser.
As more celebrities embrace this performative outrage, everyday Americans are left wondering if the entertainment industry has any self-awareness left at all.
