Billie Eilish Slammed for Hypocrisy After ‘Stolen Land’ Grammy Speech

Celebrities virtue signal from their multi-million dollar mansions while demanding open borders and dismantling ICE.

Billie Eilish, the pop singer known more for brooding lyrics than coherent political thought, is facing a tidal wave of backlash after her bizarre Grammy Awards speech, where she proclaimed, “no one is illegal on stolen land.” The moment was met with claps from her Hollywood peers most of whom, like Eilish herself, live on some of the most expensive parcels of that so-called “stolen” land.

Eilish, 24, recently dropped a cool $14 million on a Hollywood Hills fortress, safely insulated from the very consequences of the policies she champions. But that didn't stop her from virtue signaling on stage. “F*** ICE,” she added, wearing an “ICE OUT” pin to make sure everyone knew she was firmly on the open-borders bandwagon.

The internet wasn’t having it. The mockery was swift, sharp, and well-deserved:

  • “Land cannot be stolen if no one is illegal,” pointed out commentator Matt Walsh.

  • British journalist Julia Hartley-Brewer noted, “Of course, if she really means it, then she’ll happily hand over her multi-million Malibu home to illegal migrants. Which she won’t.”

  • Senator Mike Lee chimed in: “Any white person who does a public ‘stolen land’ acknowledgment should immediately give his or her land to Native Americans. Otherwise, they don’t mean it.”

And that’s the heart of it. These millionaire entertainers want average Americans to abandon border security and national sovereignty while they sip cocktails behind gated walls. If they truly believed their rhetoric, they’d start by opening the doors to their luxury homes and bank accounts.

Even more ironically, this isn’t Eilish’s first display of ideological inconsistency. Just months ago, she launched a foul-mouthed tirade against Elon Musk, demanding he give away more of his wealth while she lounges in designer clothes and builds a real estate portfolio. According to Forbes, Eilish’s net worth is now over $50 million, built entirely on the economic opportunities and intellectual property protections of the very nation she so casually criticizes.

The Grammy Awards this year were less about music and more about political performance art. Fellow celebrities like Justin Bieber, Hailey Bieber, and Kehlani joined in the anti-ICE posturing. Puerto Rican artist Bad Bunny echoed the sentiment, exclaiming “ICE out” during his acceptance speech. What’s next abolishing national borders from a stage flanked by armed security?

Here’s the reality that the coastal elite can’t or won’t acknowledge:

  • The U.S. sees over 8,000 illegal border crossings daily, straining public services and flooding communities with unvetted migrants.

  • ICE conducted over 140,000 deportations in 2023, most involving individuals with criminal convictions.

  • Los Angeles, where Eilish lives, is a sanctuary city yet also home to over 69,000 homeless residents, while celebrities demand resources go to those entering illegally.

When Hollywood preaches about “stolen land,” it’s nothing more than empty performance. Real Americans live with the consequences of unchecked immigration and broken policies while elites keep the gates closed.

Preach less. Practice more.
