Biden Administration Instructs Border Patrol to Release Migrants Contrary to Executive Order
Biden’s Weak Executive Order Fails to Address Immigration Crisis
In a shocking revelation, President Joe Biden’s administration has covertly instructed U.S. Border Patrol agents to release illegal aliens into the United States from all but six of the more than 100 countries in the Eastern Hemisphere, contradicting Biden’s own recent executive order on immigration.
The Washington Examiner obtained a memo detailing these instructions, which surfaced shortly after Biden signed an executive order purportedly aimed at securing the border in the event of overwhelming influxes. Despite Biden's claims, numerous officials and security experts have criticized the executive order as ineffective and merely symbolic.
Border Patrol agents were directed to release illegal aliens from most Eastern Hemisphere countries into the U.S.
This directive contradicts Biden's executive order, which he claimed would enhance border security.
The Eastern Hemisphere includes countries from the Middle East, Asia, Africa, and most of Europe.
Examiner border correspondent Anna Giaritelli highlighted the inconsistency between the administration’s private instructions and their public statements. According to the report, senior Biden administration officials assured reporters that migrants from the Eastern Hemisphere, who traveled through multiple countries without seeking asylum, would be subjected to strict measures.
"Extra-hemispheric migrants have always been a challenge. They will be subject to these rules, provisions," said a Biden official, referencing recent repatriation flights to countries like India, China, and Uzbekistan. However, the memo to Border Patrol agents reveals a different reality.
The memo specifies that only individuals from Georgia, Moldova, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan, and Uzbekistan will face expedited removal. Migrants from all other Eastern Hemisphere countries will be released into the U.S. and allowed to seek asylum.
Fox News correspondent Bill Melugin reported that these instructions perpetuate a "mass catch & release" policy for illegal immigrants. Under Biden’s administration, approximately 10 million illegal immigrants have entered the U.S., exacerbating the border crisis.
This secretive approach undermines public trust and raises serious concerns about the administration’s commitment to border security. The disparity between Biden’s executive orders and the actual instructions given to Border Patrol agents highlights a troubling disconnect in the government’s handling of immigration.
