Biden Attacks Trump for Profiting While His Own Family Cashed In for Decades

Only in the fantasyland of Democratic politics can Joe Biden the patriarch of one of the most shamelessly profiteering political families in American history accuse Donald Trump of “profiting” from the presidency with a straight face.

Speaking at a Democratic gala in Omaha, Nebraska, Biden delivered one of his signature meandering speeches, bouncing erratically between a whisper and a shout, complete with slurred words and disconnected jabs at Trump. But it was one line in particular that sent hypocrisy detectors nationwide into overdrive.

“Has anyone noticed how much the Trump family has made while he’s been president? A reported $1.8 billion,” Biden said. “Can you imagine if any other president in American history did that?”

Yes, we can imagine. We don’t have to imagine because the Biden family has done exactly that, and far worse.

While Trump donated every penny of his presidential salary, Joe Biden’s family was allegedly raking in millions from shady foreign business deals linked directly to his position as Vice President and later President. House Oversight investigations and bank records have revealed a network of shell companies and suspicious wire transfers tied to China, Ukraine, and other foreign governments all while Hunter Biden, the president’s son, peddled access to “the big guy.”

Let’s talk actual numbers:

• Donald Trump’s net worth dropped from $3 billion in 2017 to $2.3 billion in 2021, according to Forbes. He lost money while serving the country.

• Joe Biden’s net worth increased from $8 million to $10 million during his presidency.

• Barack Obama’s fortune exploded from $1.3 million to $70 million, post-presidency.

• Bill Clinton’s wealth skyrocketed to over $120 million after his time in the White House.

So who’s really profiting from public office?

The media won’t say it, but the facts are obvious: Trump is the only modern president who came out of the White House poorer than he went in. Meanwhile, the Bidens have treated public service like a business model complete with shady overseas transactions, luxury homes, and art deals priced far beyond their artistic value.

And let’s not forget this is the same Biden who once bragged about threatening to withhold a billion-dollar loan from Ukraine unless they fired the prosecutor investigating Burisma, the very company paying his son Hunter up to $83,000 a month.

Joe Biden doesn’t get to pretend he's the moral compass of America. He doesn’t get to lecture anyone especially Donald Trump about ethics or profit. Every time he does, it only reminds Americans why we need leadership that’s not for sale.
