Biden’s Gaza Aid Pier Leaves 62 Americans Injured, 1 Dead Critics Call It a Symbol of Waste
A $230 million disaster, Biden’s floating pier collapsed in weeks, injured dozens of Americans, and served as a propaganda gift to Hamas.

President Joe Biden’s much-hyped Gaza aid pier hailed as a humanitarian triumph in his 2024 State of the Union address has officially become one of the most costly and deadly foreign policy failures of his presidency.
According to a new report from the Pentagon’s Inspector General, the pier, which was operational for less than three weeks, resulted in the death of one U.S. service member, injuries to 62 others, and over $31 million in equipment losses.
“One of the biggest Biden embarrassments the half baked Gaza Aid Pier. $230 million. 20 days in use. And now we find out it injured 60+ US soldiers. One soldier died!” Republican analyst Scott Jennings posted. “All to placate terrorists & their sympathizers in the Democratic Party.”
The pier was never about helping civilians. It was a political stunt, designed to appease the anti-Israel Left within Biden’s fractured party. Now, it’s left behind a trail of pain, waste, and unanswered questions.
$230 million in taxpayer funding spent.
20 days of use before it was scrapped.
Less than one-third of the promised aid was ever delivered.
U.S. troops injured by structural failures and Hamas rocket attacks.
And as if the injuries and death weren’t enough, the pier served as a strategic win for Hamas. According to the report, the terror group launched rockets at the pier, and still managed to steal humanitarian aid that Biden’s administration insisted was going directly to civilians.
“This is outrageous,” said Adam Milstein. “Hamas attacked the pier with rockets and the media covered up the fact 60 U.S. troops were injured.”
Despite warnings from federal aid officials and the U.S. Agency for International Development, Biden ordered the project forward anyway ignoring logistical red flags and intelligence concerns about Hamas exploitation.
“A soldier was killed and dozens injured in Biden’s failed pier mission, which is worse than previously known,” reported The Washington Post’s Alex Horton. “The least anyone could do in the Defense Department is try to answer questions.”
But they haven’t. The Pentagon, under Biden, has refused to fully disclose how the project was greenlit, why it remained in operation amid chaos, or how it was allowed to collapse so completely.
What was supposed to be a gesture of peace became a symbol of weakness, incompetence, and Biden’s allegiance to the radical anti-Israel wing of his party.
This was never humanitarian aid. It was foreign policy theater at the expense of American lives.
And now, the Biden administration so eager to undermine Israel and prop up Hamas has blood on its hands, and not a single ounce of accountability to show for it.
