Biden Faces Drug Test Challenge As Hunter Claims Ambien Caused Debate Meltdown

The Biden campaign is under fire once again as questions about President Joe Biden’s mental fitness resurface this time fueled by explosive remarks from his son, Hunter Biden. In a recent interview, Hunter claimed that his father’s disastrous 2024 debate performance against Donald Trump was caused by Ambien, a sedative typically used to treat insomnia.

“I know exactly what happened in that debate,” Hunter said during an interview with “Channel 5 with Andrew Callaghan” on YouTube. “He’s 81 years old. He’s tired as s---. They give him Ambien to be able to sleep. He gets up on the stage, and he looks like he’s a deer in the headlights. And it feeds into every f---ing story that anybody wants to tell.”

These comments have reignited calls for Biden to submit to a pre-debate drug test a challenge Trump issued last year when he accused the president of potentially taking performance-enhancing substances. Biden’s team refused to answer directly when asked by Fox News Digital if the president planned to undergo testing, dismissing the suggestion as “desperate, obviously false lies.”

Hunter Biden also lashed out at prominent Democrats and Hollywood figures who distanced themselves from his father after the debate.
