Biden’s DOJ Partnered with Pro-Abortion Lobby to Target Pro-Life Americans

Newly uncovered emails confirm what many conservatives have suspected all along: President Joe Biden’s Department of Justice and FBI weren’t just going after pro-life Americans they were doing it in direct coordination with the abortion industry’s top lobbyists.

According to internal DOJ emails obtained by the Functional Government Initiative and shared with The Daily Wire, Biden’s DOJ built an “amazing relationship” with the National Abortion Federation (NAF) the professional association for abortion providers to help prosecute pro-life Americans under the Freedom of Access to Clinic Entrances (FACE) Act.

The Biden administration didn’t just weaponize the FBI against grandmas praying outside abortion clinics they let pro-abortion activists help run the investigation.

The Facts:

• A January 2023 email from NAF Security Manager Robert Ledogar revealed that the group had worked on multiple FACE Act investigations in coordination with DOJ attorneys and FBI agents in Tennessee, Florida, Virginia, California, New York, Maryland, and North Carolina.

• Ledogar gushed about his “amazing relationship” with key DOJ officials like Kristen Clarke, Sanjay Patel, Laura Cowall, and others who oversee civil rights prosecutions.

• Ledogar also bragged about NAF attending events like the March for Life to “identify and witness the extremists” in other words, to surveil peaceful Americans expressing their First Amendment rights.

Meanwhile, Biden’s DOJ was throwing the book at pro-life activists:

• In Tennessee, six peaceful protesters including elderly Christians were convicted under the FACE Act and faced over 10 years in prison.

• In New York, a Catholic priest and a pro-life mother were also sentenced for similar nonviolent demonstrations.

• The FBI raided the homes of men like Mark Houck (a father of 7) and Paul Vaughn (a father of 11) all for protesting outside abortion facilities.

Among those targeted was Eva Edl, an 89-year-old survivor of a communist concentration camp, arrested simply for defending life.

“This is about removing Lady Justice’s blindfold,” said Roderick Law of the Functional Government Initiative. “These emails show a disturbing eagerness to meet with pro-abortion activists and punish pro-life Americans.”

Even worse, when NAF requested a meeting with DOJ’s Civil Rights Division head Kristen Clarke, her staff explicitly cleared it despite the obvious conflict of interest.

This isn’t law enforcement. It’s ideological warfare, with the Biden DOJ acting as the legal arm of the abortion lobby.

Under President Trump, the DOJ made it clear: the FACE Act would only be used in cases of violence or property damage, not to persecute peaceful protesters. Trump also pardoned over 20 pro-life activists, calling the prosecutions “ridiculous.”

“Under the leadership of President Trump and Attorney General Bondi, this Department of Justice no longer weaponizes the use of the FACE Act to unfairly target crisis pregnancy centers, pro-life organizations, and churches,” a DOJ spokesman said Monday.

The contrast could not be clearer: Trump defended life and free speech. Biden criminalizes it.

This administration has worked hand-in-glove with abortion extremists to dismantle religious liberty, criminalize Christian activism, and punish Americans whose only “crime” is believing in the sanctity of life.

It’s not about justice. It’s about power.
