Biden Aides Weighed Cognitive Test, Feared Political Fallout

The truth behind Joe Biden’s rapid political collapse is coming into clearer focus and it’s even worse than most Americans imagined.

According to a soon-to-be-released book titled “2024 How Trump Retook the White House and the Democrats Lost America,” top Biden aides seriously considered subjecting the president to a cognitive test months before he dropped out of the race. But in a shocking act of political cowardice, they chose not to, fearing the test would raise more suspicion than it resolved.

Translation they were more concerned with protecting a crumbling campaign than being honest with the American people.

The discussions reportedly occurred in February 2024, coinciding with Special Counsel Robert Hur’s damning report, which described Biden’s mental state as “significantly limited” and “sympathetic… with a poor memory.” That report alone was enough to stop criminal charges for mishandling classified documents because a jury would likely see Biden as too mentally feeble to form intent.

This is the man Democrats claimed was fit to run the country for four more years.

Hur’s report noted Biden’s memory issues during a 2023 interview and even cited his 2017 conversations with a ghostwriter as evidence of long-standing cognitive decline.

Biden’s aides believed he would pass a cognitive test, yet still refused to administer it admitting privately that it would do more harm than good politically.

The real reason? They knew the American people would see it as confirmation that Biden wasn’t up to the job and they were right.

What followed was a complete meltdown. Biden’s debate performance against Donald Trump was so incoherent and feeble that even his biggest media allies and party donors turned on him. Within days, the pressure mounted and Biden stepped aside, clearing the way for Kamala Harris a candidate even Democrats don’t want.

This was not a one-day slip-up. This was the climax of years of decline that Biden’s handlers concealed from the public. The same media and political establishment that mocked conservatives for questioning Biden’s fitness knew the truth all along. They lied, they gaslit, and they ran interference to protect their own power.

Former Biden adviser Mike Donilon still tried to spin the disaster, claiming, “If you watched his farewell address, I think he had as clear and cogent an assessment… as anyone’s ever given.”

The American people didn’t buy it. They saw what was obvious to everyone outside the Beltway echo chamber: Joe Biden wasn’t just too old he was unfit.

And now, with Biden out of the race and Harris flailing to unify a fractured Democratic base, the Left is scrambling. But it’s too late. Their lies have caught up with them. They knowingly backed a man who couldn’t carry out the job, and in doing so, they betrayed the public trust on a historic level.

It’s no surprise that Trump retook the White House. The Democrats didn’t just lose they handed it to him.
