Biden Still Asserts He Would Have Defeated Trump in 2024 Race

Despite dropping out after a humiliating debate, the former president now blames sexism for Kamala Harris’s defeat and insists he would’ve won.

In a baffling appearance on ABC’s The View this week, former President Joe Biden claimed that he could have beaten Donald Trump ‘again’ if he had stayed in the race. That’s despite dropping out just weeks after a catastrophic debate performance that all but sealed his political obituary.

  • “Yes,” Biden insisted when asked if he could have defeated Trump, brushing aside the reality that Trump crushed him in all key battleground states and expanded his support across nearly every demographic.

It’s worth remembering why Biden stepped aside: a late-June debate where he appeared confused, incoherent, and detached, prompting even legacy media outlets to demand his withdrawal. His poll numbers collapsed almost overnight, and within a month, he was out.

But none of that seems to matter to the man who continues to live in a fantasy where 2020 never ended.

As if that weren’t delusional enough, Biden also attempted to explain Kamala Harris’s catastrophic failure as the Democratic nominee by blaming sexism and racism. Not her record, not her policies, not her inability to connect with voters. No, according to Biden, America just couldn’t handle a woman of “mixed race.”

  • “I’ve never seen quite a successful and consistent campaign undercutting the notion that a woman couldn’t lead the country and a woman of mixed race,” Biden said, deflecting any blame from Harris’s historically low approval ratings and abysmal primary performances.

Let’s be honest: Kamala Harris wasn’t undercut by sexism ‘she was undercut by her own incompetence’. From her nervous laughter in high-pressure interviews to her incoherent answers on immigration and crime, voters saw through the media façade and rejected the empty identity politics.

Meanwhile, President Trump’s 2024 victory was anything but narrow:

  • Trump won back all major battleground states including Pennsylvania, Georgia, Michigan, and Arizona by solid margins.

  • He surged with Hispanic and Black voters, especially men, breaking Democrat strongholds in urban areas.

  • Trump’s message of law, order, and American energy independence resonated far more than Biden’s tired slogans and excuses.

And yet Biden wants us to believe that because Trump didn’t exceed his 2020 vote total, somehow that makes this win “not a slam dunk.”

Here’s a reality check, votes don’t get recycled. Biden’s 2020 total doesn’t matter anymore. What matters is that in 2024, Trump won and he won decisively, with a clear mandate from Americans tired of inflation, chaos abroad, and weakness at home.

Instead of accepting the results like a grown-up, Biden and his media enablers continue to spin fantasies. It’s the same script they used after 2016, and Americans are tired of the whining.

Joe Biden may believe he could have beaten Trump again but thankfully, the American people didn’t give him the chance.
