Biden Admin Buried Study That Showed LNG Exports Cut Global Emissions

The Biden administration has been caught red-handed burying key scientific evidence to push its radical anti-energy agenda. According to insider reports, the Department of Energy finalized a study in September 2023 that proved U.S. liquefied natural gas (LNG) exports would reduce global emissions. But because those findings clashed with the environmental narrative Biden needed to appease far-left activists, the study was intentionally shelved.

In its place, a watered-down, manipulated version of the report was released nearly a year later in December 2024, conveniently omitting crucial analysis. Former Secretary Jennifer Granholm and the Biden White House prioritized their political ambitions over energy security, environmental benefits, and the livelihoods of Americans.

Here’s what really happened:

• The September 2023 draft study demonstrated that increased U.S. LNG exports would replace dirtier energy sources worldwide, leading to a net decrease in global emissions.

• Biden officials ordered staffers to halt work on the study and never released that version, classifying it as part of internal deliberations.

• The final public version excluded an essential "market effects" analysis, allowing Biden’s DOE to falsely claim LNG exports would worsen emissions.

In short, Biden’s pause on LNG exports had nothing to do with science it was a political move designed to curry favor with climate extremists, regardless of the consequences for working Americans, global emissions, or energy costs.

To make matters worse, Biden himself seemed completely unaware of his own policy. After dropping out of the 2024 presidential race due to his well-known cognitive decline, House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) revealed Biden didn’t even remember signing the LNG pause order when questioned about it.

This is exactly what Americans have come to expect under Democratic leadership: deception, bureaucratic manipulation, and policies that cripple American energy dominance while empowering foreign adversaries.

While Biden’s team claimed to be “taking a hard look” at LNG’s impacts, they had already buried the evidence showing LNG’s benefits. The result? Higher energy costs, weakened U.S. energy security, and no meaningful environmental gain.

Thankfully, Republican leaders are preparing to expose this fraud. Evidence of the Biden administration's cover-up is reportedly being sent to Congress, and Americans deserve to see just how far this White House will go to serve special interests over common sense.
