Biden Admin Pressured Airports to Shelter Illegal Immigrants, Senate Report Finds

A newly released Senate report has blown the lid off one of the most reckless and dangerous immigration schemes to date by the Biden administration pressuring at least 11 U.S. airports to house illegal immigrants, ignoring security risks and overriding repeated warnings from airport officials.

The 47-page report, titled “Flight Risk,” reveals how the Biden White House directed the Department of Transportation (DOT), the FAA, and other federal agencies to identify and repurpose airport property to accommodate migrants. This directive was issued despite glaring concerns that doing so would undermine aviation safety, security, and public trust.

According to internal communications included in the report:

• FAA officials admitted they were being pushed by the White House, with one writing, “This is an immediate ask so please prioritize this effort.”

• A DOT official acknowledged how politically toxic the request was, saying, “Yikes, this is definitely Fox News fodder in the making.”

They weren’t wrong. What followed was a nightmare for the very cities Democrats claim to care about:

• Boston Logan Airport: Sheltered 352 illegal immigrants at a cost of $779,000 in security and logistics.

• Chicago O’Hare: Turned a terminal into a de facto migrant camp for up to 900 individuals, resulting in 329 police service calls and 26 arrests, including theft, disorderly conduct, and even a death investigation.

• New York JFK: Suffered a serious security breach when a migrant ran past security toward the runway with a box cutter and scissors on his person.

This isn’t a “right-wing conspiracy.” This is documented, verified, and unfolding in real time.

The Senate report says the Biden-Harris administration:

“Made airports and aviation less secure by allowing and encouraging aliens to shelter at U.S. airports, by allowing improperly vetted aliens to fly into and throughout the United States, and by diverting needed federal air marshals to the border.”

That last point is critical. Instead of protecting flights and passengers in the air, federal air marshals were pulled from airports and redeployed to deal with the border crisis Biden refuses to stop creating.

And let’s be clear airports are not shelters. They are critical infrastructure designed for air travel, not makeshift processing centers for border crossers. FAA officials themselves noted the legal barrier that airport property funded by federal grants must comply with strict safety rules, including how the space can be used. But, as the report puts it, the Biden team “ignored them most of the time.”

To add insult to injury, the administration even encouraged transportation officials to use federal funds to move migrants around the country and to produce “Know Your Rights” guides for illegal entrants while the average American deals with rising costs, reduced services, and a growing sense that their government no longer works for them.

This isn’t just policy failure. It’s deliberate, calculated chaos.

While the Biden administration scrambles to score political points with the open-borders crowd, law-abiding Americans are footing the bill and living with the consequences whether it’s diminished airport security, rising crime, or an overwhelmed local infrastructure.

It’s now more obvious than ever this administration is not just incompetent it is actively hostile to law and order, national sovereignty, and basic common sense.
