Baltimore Judge Blocks Another Trump Administration Gang Deportation

Another day, another activist judge standing between President Trump’s administration and the protection of American citizens. This week, U.S. District Court Judge Stephanie Gallagher ordered the Trump administration to bring back a deported illegal alien a Venezuelan national identified as Cristian who the administration says is a gang member.

Gallagher ruled that deporting Cristian violated a settlement agreement she had approved in November, arguing that the illegal immigrant’s asylum application should have been heard before removal. According to Gallagher, deporting gang-affiliated migrants without a court hearing would "nullify" the settlement’s purpose.

Never mind that Cristian, by the administration’s own evidence, is a suspected gang member who poses a real threat to American communities.

The Trump administration has countered by citing the 1798 Alien Enemies Act, which allows the removal of nationals from hostile countries during times of conflict. With Venezuela’s deep ties to anti-American activity and rising criminal migration, the administration rightfully invoked the law to expedite removals and keep dangerous individuals off American streets.

This isn’t an isolated incident:

• Judge James Boasberg recently threatened to hold the Trump administration in contempt for using the Alien Enemies Act to deport over 250 suspected gang members.

• A different judge already ordered Trump’s team to bring back Kilmar Abrego Garcia, an MS-13 member deported to El Salvador.

Yet Salvadoran President Nayib Bukele made it clear he has no intention of sending criminals back to the U.S. “How can I smuggle a terrorist into the United States?” Bukele said, highlighting how Trump’s allies abroad understand what these liberal judges refuse to see: you don’t put gang members back on the streets.

Bukele rightly added, "We just turned the murder capital of the world into the safest country in the western hemisphere, and you want us to go back? That’s not going to happen."

Here’s the uncomfortable truth:

• Liberal judges are more concerned with protecting gang members' "rights" than protecting law-abiding American families.

• Activist courts have become a weapon against the Trump administration’s America First agenda.

• The Alien Enemies Act is a legitimate, long-standing tool not a legal loophole and it’s being used appropriately to defend this nation.

The Trump administration is doing what Biden would never do: putting American safety above the demands of open-border extremists. While the left clutches its pearls over deportations, Trump is trying to make sure your family doesn’t have to live next door to an MS-13 enforcer.

It’s time to call this out for what it is: judicial obstruction of national security.
