Rescued Astronauts Thank Trump and Musk
After nine months stranded in space, NASA crew says Trump and Musk "earned their trust" while Biden sat on the sidelines.

After spending nine grueling months stranded on the International Space Station, NASA astronauts Butch Wilmore and Suni Williams are finally back on Earth and they’re not holding back on who they credit for their rescue.
In their first interview since returning, the astronauts praised President Donald Trump and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk for prioritizing their safe return, while also taking a veiled swipe at the Biden administration, which reportedly rejected Musk’s earlier offer to intervene and bring them home.
“I respect you. I trust you,” Wilmore said on Fox News’ America’s Newsroom. “You’ve given me no reason not to trust you, either one of them... it’s empowering. It’s strengthening for our nation.”
Let that sink in. Two NASA astronauts real American heroes are pointing to Trump and Musk as the men who took action while the Biden White House hesitated.
The pair’s planned one-week mission aboard Boeing’s Starliner spacecraft turned into a nine-month ordeal after mechanical problems stranded them in orbit. According to reports, Elon Musk offered to deploy a SpaceX mission to rescue them last year, but the Biden administration refused, opting instead to stick with Boeing’s troubled platform.
Now safely back on Earth after a successful March 18 SpaceX rescue mission, both astronauts are making it clear Trump and Musk didn’t just talk they acted.
Wilmore continued, “It’s a good thing for our nation when the national leaders, especially something that’s high visibility, are involved in the process... I’m grateful for that.”
Williams echoed his sentiments, adding: “I’m just glad that they’re involved and they take notice... It shows our ability to do the hard things put people in space, operate in space, and bring us back.”
The contrast couldn’t be clearer.
Trump has consistently championed American space dominance, launching the Space Force and supporting private space innovation.
Musk’s SpaceX has delivered where legacy contractors like Boeing have stumbled reliably sending astronauts to and from orbit.
Biden’s administration refused help when it was offered, delaying a solution for nearly a year.
And while the Left constantly whines about “democracy” and “science,” when it came time to actually save lives in space, their leaders were missing in action.
This wasn’t just a mission rescue. It was a wake-up call about who actually leads when it matters—and who just makes speeches while America flounders.
Trump and Musk didn’t let politics get in the way of protecting our astronauts. And in doing so, they reminded the world that real leadership means action, not excuses.
