AOC Says Trump Is Responsible for LA Riots ‘His Administration Owns This’

As violent riots rage through Los Angeles, Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is doing what Democrats do best pointing fingers and dodging responsibility. In a stunning interview with Fox News Digital, the New York congresswoman blamed President Donald Trump and his administration for the chaos erupting in California, claiming they are "creating this chaos" and that the administration "owns this."

For days, Los Angeles has been rocked by violent clashes between anti-ICE protesters and law enforcement. The unrest erupted after Immigration and Customs Enforcement operations led to widespread outrage among the left’s activist base. Protesters have looted stores, set cars on fire, blocked freeways, and attacked police officers as the city spirals out of control.

In response, President Trump deployed 2,000 National Guard troops and hundreds of Marines to help restore order something any serious leader would do to protect American citizens and businesses from lawless mobs. But to AOC, protecting communities somehow makes Trump responsible for the violence.

In her own words:

• "It’s his decisions, his aggression. His ability to intentionally stoke this, that is the problem."

• "Donald Trump knowingly is doing this. He is knowingly provoking chaos and, at the end of the day, he has to answer for everything that has happened."

• "We need to hold the leaders who are making this chaos and creating this chaos accountable."

This shameless attempt to shift blame comes as video footage shows rioters looting major retailers, torching vehicles, and taking over entire city blocks. Los Angeles residents are terrified, businesses are shuttered, and law enforcement is overwhelmed — yet the Democrats continue to defend the lawbreakers and attack the very people trying to restore order.

AOC even went as far as to defend the rioters on social media, writing on Bluesky that Democrats shouldn’t have to "answer for every teen who throws a rock" — as if the widespread destruction is nothing more than kids misbehaving.

Let’s be clear:

• Over $100 million in damages have already been reported across Los Angeles.

• Over 300 arrests have been made since the violence began.

• At least 40 police officers have been injured trying to contain the mayhem.

Instead of condemning this criminal behavior, AOC and her fellow Democrats continue to make excuses and stoke division. This is the same party that pushed to defund the police, opened the floodgates for illegal immigration, and now tries to blame Republicans for the predictable consequences of their own reckless policies.

The American people see through this political theater. While Trump takes decisive action to protect lives and property, Democrats are more interested in scoring cheap political points and coddling violent mobs. Come 2024, voters will remember exactly who stood for law and order and who stood with the rioters.
