Violent Venezuelan Gang Targets Rural America After NYC Takedown
Anti-Tren offshoot poses growing threat as Biden’s open border fuels crime wave into small-town USA.

A new and dangerous Venezuelan gang is rapidly emerging on U.S. soil, and experts warn it could be even more violent than the notorious Tren de Aragua. Meet the “Anti-Tren” gang an offshoot of Venezuela’s most brutal criminal enterprise and it's already targeting rural America, where law enforcement resources are thin and communities are unprepared for cartel-style violence.
According to a recently unsealed federal indictment, 21 Anti-Tren gang members were charged with operating drug and prostitution rings in New York City. But experts say this is only the beginning and that the real threat is where they’re headed next.
“They're taking advantage of the homeless, they're taking advantage of rural America,” warned Robert Charles, former Assistant Secretary of State and now a Maine gubernatorial candidate. “They look for opportunities to maximize their gain with the least possible risk.”
And thanks to Democrat-led open borders policies, they’re finding those opportunities all across the country. The Department of Homeland Security has already confirmed that Anti-Tren members are largely former Tren de Aragua operatives meaning they’re trained, ruthless, and familiar with how to exploit weak enforcement systems.
What we know so far:
Anti-Tren gang members are using extreme violence to establish dominance, even targeting their former allies in Tren de Aragua.
Federal officials say the gang is involved in sex trafficking of Venezuelan women, armed robbery, drug smuggling, and torture-based intimidation tactics.
The gang is now believed to be active outside of New York, including in Texas, where a woman was pistol-whipped, tied up, and robbed of $75,000 in luxury items during a brutal home invasion in Dallas.
Gang members used Google Translate to communicate with the victim, and allegedly threatened to cut off her fingers.
This is the direct result of a broken immigration system that allowed tens of thousands of unvetted migrants to enter the country under President Biden. Instead of facing background checks, these individuals walked in under the cover of “asylum,” and now, violent international gangs are embedding themselves in our neighborhoods.
And it’s not just sanctuary cities that are at risk. According to Charles, rural states like Maine and the Midwest are the next targets because they lack the manpower and surveillance infrastructure to fight back.
“We don’t have the infrastructure to patrol these areas and stop drugs and gangs from coming here,” Charles warned.
Let’s be blunt these criminals aren’t stupid. They’re strategic, and they know the federal government under Biden has neither the will nor the resources to stop them. Meanwhile, Democrat-run cities protect them from deportation, while small towns are left to fend for themselves.
This is what happens when border security is replaced with sanctuary policies and law enforcement is demonized instead of empowered.
The Trump administration understood the importance of law and order. They designated cartels as terrorist groups, cracked down on MS-13, and prioritized deportation of violent offenders. It’s time we returned to that model before the next Anti-Tren attack happens in your neighborhood.
