Shooter at ICE Facility Leaves Bullet Casings Marked ‘ANTI-ICE’

Another deadly act of politically driven violence has rocked Texas, and once again, it’s aimed squarely at the men and women tasked with defending our nation’s borders. On Wednesday, a shooter opened fire on an Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) facility in Dallas, killing at least two detainees before taking his own life. And in a disturbing twist, shell casings recovered from the scene were engraved with the phrase “ANTI ICE.”

FBI Director Kash Patel confirmed the findings in a post on X, stating that the evidence points to an ideological motive behind the brutal attack. Patel didn’t mince words: “These despicable, politically motivated attacks against law enforcement are not a one-off.” And he’s right.

This wasn’t some random act of violence it was part of a growing trend:

• Just two months ago, only miles away in Prairieland, Texas, another ICE facility was ambushed.

• On July 4th, a group of leftist anarchists clad in military-style gear attacked an ICE center in Alvarado, Texas. They used fireworks to bait officers outside before opening fire, hitting a local police officer in the neck.

• The group carried radical propaganda like “FIGHT ICE TERROR WITH CLASS WAR!” and flags demanding, “RESIST FASCISM – FIGHT OLIGARCHY.”

• In a separate incident last month, an individual claimed to be carrying a bomb and showed up at another ICE facility in Dallas, flashing what appeared to be a detonator on his wrist.

This isn’t just terrorism it’s ideologically inspired warfare against the very agents charged with upholding U.S. immigration law.

And what has the Biden administration done about it? Nothing. No press conference. No public condemnation. No show of support for the ICE officers who are literally under siege.

Under Joe Biden’s failed leadership, law enforcement especially agencies like ICE have been demonized, defunded, and demoralized. The Democrats’ open-borders agenda has created a hostile climate where radicals feel justified, even celebrated, for targeting those who enforce our immigration laws.

Let’s not forget: in just the past three years under Biden, illegal border crossings have hit record highs, topping 2.4 million encounters in 2023 alone. Meanwhile, ICE agents are expected to do their jobs with one hand tied behind their backs and now, with targets on them.

The shooter in Dallas hasn’t been publicly identified, but his message is clear: violent extremism against law enforcement is not only rising it's being emboldened by a culture that treats border enforcement like a hate crime.

As Director Patel put it, “It has to end.” But it won’t end until we have leadership in Washington that actually backs the badge and secures our border. Until then, ICE facilities will continue to be soft targets for extremists radicalized by leftist rhetoric and unchecked chaos.

If Biden won’t take action, voters will.
