Abbott Fires Back After Crockett Mocks His Disability

Texas Governor delivers powerful response to Democrat's vile personal attack.

The Left sunk to a new low this week, and Texas Governor Greg Abbott didn’t hesitate to call them out. In a disgraceful display of cruelty, Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D-TX) mocked Abbott for using a wheelchair referring to him as “Governor Hot Wheels” during yet another one of her tone-deaf tirades.

Abbott, a man who has led Texas through economic growth and stood strong for conservative values, responded not with outrage, but with conviction and truth.

“They have nothing to sell but hate,” Abbott said during an appearance on Fox News with Sean Hannity. “And Americans are not buying it.”

This wasn’t just a one-off comment it was emblematic of where the modern Democratic Party is headed. Rather than offering real solutions or policies, many Democrats like Crockett rely on personal attacks, identity politics, and cheap shots. But it’s clearly not working.

Abbott reminded viewers of what truly matters:

  • Texas led the nation in new job creation both in the past month and over the past year.

  • CEOs have ranked Texas the number one state in America for business.

  • Texas remains a stronghold of freedom, opportunity, and prosperity despite Democrats’ endless smear campaigns.

Crockett’s attack wasn’t just classless it was telling. It showed that the Left is running out of arguments and resorting to mockery when they can’t win on the issues.

Let’s not forget the remarkable story behind Abbott’s condition. At just 26, while preparing for the bar exam, he went for a jog. A massive oak tree fell on him, crushing his spine and leaving him paralyzed from the waist down. But he didn’t give up. He fought through unimaginable pain and hardship, built a successful legal career, and eventually became governor of the second-largest state in the country.

That’s the kind of grit, leadership, and perseverance we should admire not ridicule.

And it’s why Texas stays red. Voters recognize leadership when they see it. They see through the pettiness, the division, and the hatred being pushed by people like Crockett. As Abbott said, “With comments like this by Democrats, we will just leave them in the dust in future elections.”

Crockett and her allies may think playground insults are clever but they’re only exposing how little they have to offer.
