Levin Unleashes on Indictment Allegations and Pence’s Political Stance

Published:

Prominent conservative commentator, Mark Levin did not hold back on Thursday as he critiqued the indictment against former President Donald Trump and openly criticized former Vice President Mike Pence.

Levin’s passionate response came after remarks made by ex-Attorney General Bill Barr to CNN, suggesting Trump knowingly propagated false information about the 2020 election results and might have conspired to do so.

Commenting on the indictment, Levin argued, “This so-called indictment, Mr. Barr, is flawed at best.”

He posited that there were no charges related to insurrection or seditious conspiracy precisely because these actions never took place.

The conservative commentator then shifted his attention to Pence. Following the indictment, Pence lamented that Trump had let a group of lawyers convince him of the unfounded election fraud, leading him to make unconstitutional demands of Pence.

Levin responded, “Now, we come to Mike Pence. His behavior has been, let’s say, unexpected. Pence seemed very determined to avoid testifying before the grand jury and handing over his notes. Now it’s becoming clear why.”

In Levin’s eyes, Pence’s actions – taking notes in the meeting and then handing them over – were unnecessary theatrics. Levin questioned Pence’s claims of preventing a constitutional crisis, considering his sudden change of stance.

Levin further emphasized that this indictment might have far-reaching implications. “This indictment has thrown our electoral system into chaos. The rules have become ambiguous; it’s unclear when challenges can be made. It seems they are now targeting what you think and believe,” he warned.

The commentator also elaborated on the current state of electoral rules, expressing concerns over potential restrictions on legal counsel and candidates’ rights to dispute election results.

Levin, extending his critique beyond the indictment, voiced concerns about what he believes is a “passive revolution” by the Democratic Party aiming to redefine America.

“It seems our country is gradually coming apart. Our schools are being undermined, parental rights are being eroded, and traditional families and religious freedom are under attack. The Democratic Party is advocating for censorship and disrupting our traditions,” Levin claimed.

He suggested that the government was making a play for more control over individual lives through various bans and energy policies. “Our lifestyle is under threat; energy prices are skyrocketing. Things might worsen before they improve.”

In conclusion, Levin asserted that Trump’s indictment was indicative of a Democratic Party willing to use any means necessary to secure power. “This is a party that has little regard for free speech, the Bill of Rights, or attorney-client privilege. They appear power-hungry, seeing an opportunity to dominate the government and political scene for the foreseeable future.”
