Durham’s report, akin to a bolt from the blue, thoroughly discredits the previously propagated narrative that Trump had any undue Russian assistance to win the 2016 election. Late Wednesday, Luna announced a resolution to expel Schiff from the House, accusing him of deliberate deceit. “Adam Schiff lied to the American people,” stated the first-term Florida Republican.
She accused Schiff of abusing the trust placed in him as the House Intelligence Chairman, stating, “He used his position to push a lie that cost American taxpayers millions of dollars and is a dishonor to the House of Representatives.”
Luna further alleges that Schiff knowingly propagated the collusion narrative to exacerbate division within the country. She tweeted her resolution, arguing that Schiff’s actions are evidence of unfitness for office and warrant an ethics investigation.
Durham’s exhaustive 300-page report on the Trump/Russia investigation ultimately asserts that the investigation was unwarranted. It criticizes the Department of Justice and FBI for failing their responsibility of strict fidelity to the law regarding certain activities described in the report.
Durham’s report additionally exposes instances of personal bias among key FBI figures involved in the investigation, including former FBI agent Peter Strzok, highlighting his personal animosity towards Trump prior to the commencement of the probe.
