Tragic Passing of Jansen Panettiere: The Heartbreaking Reality of Mental Health Struggles

Published:

We report the passing of Jansen Panettiere, the brother of well-known actress Hayden Panettiere, with deep sorrow. At 28 years old, he.

Jansen started acting in 2002 and has since been in a variety of movies and television shows, most notably in season nine of “The Walking Dead.” Fans all across the world were able to get to know him as an actor because of his artistic performances, yet few were aware of his struggles with mental health concerns.

Concerns were raised by friends and relatives when Jansen skipped a Sunday gathering. Tragically, they discovered him unconscious while seated in a chair and did their best to do CPR before dialing 911. He passed suddenly on Monday afternoon despite everyone’s best attempts, leaving his friends, family, and everyone who knew or adored him in shock and sadness.

In his writing on Medium, Jansen revealed his struggles with mental health, speaking openly and vulnerably about how depression has always been a part of his life since he was a little child. He also discussed how utilizing painting as a kind of therapy and an outlet for the suffering he endured every day was frequently his saving grace.

Unfortunately, tales like this are all too typical today, with more individuals than ever struggling with mental health problems brought on, for example, by anxieties connected to the epidemic or the nation’s present political climate. This only serves to highlight how crucial it is for society to implement meaningful change in the areas of bettering access to mental health services, offering assistance to those experiencing depression and anxiety, destigmatizing these conversations so that people feel comfortable speaking openly about what they’re going through, and developing public awareness campaigns so that more people are aware of how serious a problem mental illness is a today.

Although we will never be able to replace individuals we have lost to suicide or other mental health-related reasons, we can work to ensure that no one suffers in silence and that everyone receives their community’s support at difficult times. Let’s appreciate the legacy Jansen Panettiere left behind today while still grieving his departure.
